Alabamaintel has been saying for weeks now that the Tide is in great shape for 2013 Florida LB Matt Thomas 6’3” 215 pounds from Booker T HS (Miami, FL). Thomas has the measurable and production on the field that college coaches look for. Although he is already getting a lot of recruiting hype, we feel he is a player to watch over the summer and fall of 2012. In our opinion, there is not much separation between Thomas and Reuben Foster on film.

After being selected in the 7th round of the 2010 NFL draft by the St. Louis Rams, Johnson spent the last two season battling injuries in St. Louis. Late last week, he signed a one year contract with the New Orleans Saints and will be reunited with his former Alabama teammate Mark Ingram along with former Tide DB Roman Harper.
